I purchased this as a portable laptop desk. For that, this serves its purpose.
However, the build quality and packaging methods are terrible.
Build Quality:
- Very cheap materials
- Metal welds are poor quality
- Fittings and alignment of pieces is poor (i.e. pieces don't line up)
Packaging:
- some of the worst I've seen
- pieces not wrapped well and will cause scratches
- both wood and metal pieces arrived heavily scratched
Usage:
- quite wobbly (poor stability) due to poor fitting pieces
- limited adjustment in height (there are only two notches - this is NOT a variable hydraulic adjustment)
I am using it because it serves its purpose, but I wouldn't buy it again.

The screw holes were welded improperly so I couldn't attach the wheels. Too bad :(

Upon receiving the package, I noticed the shipper did not include an invoice. Not a big deal because I can print one from online. However, it was also missing the side piece (for mice, books, whatever) in the package and the metal contents had dings and scratches. It would have been nice had it been all there and together, and I would have appreciated the utility, but as it was it was very disappointing.

I was going in for knee replacement surgery and knew it would be hard to keep working without bringing my laptop to my chair while keeping my leg elevated. This product does that, inexpensively. And I love the split top which can be used for a cup of coffee, lunch or a mouse. no regrets!

I love this caddy! I use it on a daily basis. The only issue I had with it is that I needed to drop the height by one more notch. I just found it a bit too high at the last fastening hole they had pre-drilled. It is possible to do this yourself though as there is room to drop it and to secure it by drilling your own fastening hole. Otherwise it is my new best friend. :)
